So the FL-40 provides even coverage of light from the center to the edge of the image—for the demands of precise filmless digital photography. And with its industry-standard hot-shoe design, the versatile FL-40 is designed to meet the needs of both today’s and tomorrow’s filmless digital cameras (and for direct use on the C-2500L SLR).

Designed specifically for use with the C-2500 SLR Filmless Digital Camera (though it can be used with other cameras with external hot-shoe flash connections), the FL-40/C-2500’s professional functions include:

• Exposure control of +/- 2-step in 1/3 steps, TTL flash, 1st or 2nd curtain flash sync and flash sync from 1/250 sec. to 8 sec.—and the FL-40 flash even auto zooms to match the focal length of the C-2500L’s 9.2 to 28mm lens (36 to 110mm equivalent)
• With built-in coverage for the B-28 wide angle and 1.45 telephoto filmless digital lenses and an additional low-light illuminator, the FL-40 can improve the focus and flash range to more than 30 feet in poorly lit and dim conditions
• Swivel and bounce head of the FL-40 offers a range of 90 degrees up and 270 degrees swivel—for complete creative control of the flash
• Guide Number of 40m or 130ft
• TTL and Auto ranges to over 30 feet at ISO 100
• Manual Guide Number flash, controlled by FL-40
• Through-the-lens TTL camera-controlled by the C-2500L SLR
