As part of the partnership, 1-800-FLOWERS will be marketing a special floral arrangement co-designed with EIF's ambassador for women's health, Pierce Brosnan - the Pink Ribbon Bouquet. The company will donate 25 percent of the proceeds on sales from this product to support funding for this important research.

The Pink Ribbon Bouquet, an arrangement of pink and white blooms in a vase adorned with the pink ribbon that is a symbol of breast cancer awareness, will debut in October in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Its launch will also be in conjunction with the airing of a television special on the Lifetime network. A mix of personal victory stories and information about the latest research being conducted to prevent and treat the debilitating diseases, the special will be hosted by actor Pierce Brosnan, who lost his wife Cassandra to ovarian cancer and Jaclyn Smith. The program will also include appearances by Halle Berry, Helen Hunt, Rosie O'Donnell, Angela Lansbury and others.

The Entertainment Industry Foundation and 1-800-FLOWERS will launch their new relationship with a special press conference in Los Angeles on Wednesday, August 13th at 10:30 a.m., to outline the national Pink Ribbon Bouquet initiative endorsed by Pierce Brosnan.
