Jim's Opening Letter

Dear Customer,

I always appreciate the holiday season because it gives me the opportunity to acknowledge and thank a lot of people who help make 1-800-FLOWERS so special.

As the World's Favorite Florist, we get a chance to meet and work with a lot of great people both here and around the world. We've been fortunate to work with actor Pierce Brosnan and members of the Entertainment Industries Foundations/Permanent Charities, who are our partners in the fight against breast and ovarian cancer. We also worked with groups like the Flower Council of Holland and the Colombian Flower Council, who, with special products like the Fresh Flowers From Holland arrangements and the Pink Ribbon Bouquet, are helping 1-800-FLOWERS bring the world's freshest, most beautiful and specialized assortments of blooms right to your door. A personal thanks to all.

And of course, this is the time of year to appreciate family. For me, I would like to thank my brother Chris, V.P. of Operations, who's been by my side during my 20 years as a florist; and my sister Julie, our Creative Director, who designs 1-800-FLOWERS' beautiful arrangements. I would also like to thank all of our local partner florists, who personally custom-craft each and every arrangement for delivery in your neighborhood.

Most of all, I would like to thank you, our customer, for continuing to make 1-800-FLOWERS the World's Favorite Florist. Have a happy and healthy holiday season.
